Aerial Lifts and Booms
Telescopic Booms
Platform reach heights up to 135 feet with optional “Up-and-Out” articulating jib that provides an additional 5 feet of horizontal reach and 135° of working range.
Telescopic boom lifts are especially useful for applications that require high reach capability. Most machines have turntables that can be rotated 360° in either direction and raised or lowered from vertical to below horizontal for easier positioning.
Articulating Booms
Articulating booms allow for more precise maneuverability than other types of high-reach equipment.
- Compact base allows the operator into tighter spaces
- More maneuverability in confined work areas
Articulating booms are used for reaching up and over machinery, equipment and other obstacles especially in confined areas or narrow passageways. They are also useful for reaching other elevated positions not easily approached by a straight telescopic boom lift. Wiese sells, services, and rents articulating booms made by the industry’s leading manufacturers.
Scissor Lifts
Scissor Lifts are made to move personnel and equipment in a vertical direction. Scissor Lifts can handle any application where a ladder, tower or scaffolding would normally be required. Scissor Lifts allow operators to complete the same jobs faster and more securely without the setup time of other equipment, such as scaffolding or a tower, and without the dangerous instability of a ladder.
Material Lifts
Specifically designed to lift products and materials safely and efficiently to elevated work areas or job sites, electric-powered material lifts also eliminate fuel costs and offer an environmentally friendly option compared to larger equipment.
It’s very important to have appropriate material lift equipment available when your employees need it. A portable material lift can be used to lift items such as HVAC, electrical and building materials, appliances, computers, warehouse stock and much more.
Aerial Work Platform Lifts
Aerial work platforms increase efficiency by quickly and safely moving your employee from point to point within your facility. The platforms are excellent for both indoor and outdoor applications and provide working heights of up to 40 feet. Aerial work platform lifts are compact and can lift one or two workers, and are easy to set up and maneuver in tight spaces. These lifts can be customized with different base and platform options, and can be used for applications including construction, maintenance, industrial, school, office, retail, and warehouse.
Push Around Boom Lifts
Push around boom lifts are especially useful for applications that require high reach capability, but do not require a self-propelled unit. Most machines have turntables that can be rotated 360° in either direction and raised or lowered from vertical to below horizontal for easier positioning. Push-around telescopic lifts are typically designed to lift one operator with their tools and are used commonly in facilities to change light bulbs, perform industrial overhead maintenance, pick stock, hang signs, and more. As a general rule, they provide a cost effective alternative to self propelled lifts for activities that do not require multiple workers, high heights, or difficult to reach locations.
Trailer Mounted Boom Lifts
These booms offer working heights up to 55 feet and are ideal for tree trimmers, construction, small manufacturing facilities, parks, and municipalities. Boom lifts offer ease of transport from point to point and are a very economical alternative.
Trailer mounted boom lifts are especially useful for applications that require high reach capability, but don’t require a self-propelled unit. Boom lifts range in heights from 35 feet to 79 feet, and can be used indoors and outdoors. The trailer lifts are compact and lightweight allowing them to be towed to any site, where their stabilizers correct uneven ground levels.
