Reduce wheel squeal with this popular Trackmobile option. Trackmobile Flange Lubricator Sticks are significantly lower cost than track based petroleum lubrication systems. Trackmobile Flange Lubricator Sticks are used in applications where severe curves exist or where the track may be tight. The Trackmobile Flange Lubricator kits are designed to help reduce the risk of premature railwheel flange wear by placing a constant, light spread of a graphite based lubricant on the railwheel’s flange. Lube sticks lower rolling resistance, enabling slightly greater drawbar pull and, potentially, enabling more railcars to be moved. The lube material does not migrate to the wheel tread or rail heads, which could cause loss of traction.
